Meta ads for Spotify growth
Done-for-you conversion campaigns for a song, EP, album or playlist. Custom video creatives, our optimized ad account and pixel, and a live dashboard. Priced by ad spend with the markup in the open.
Packages
*Estimated ranges from past campaigns. A conversion is a viewer who clicks the ad and picks a streaming platform on your landing page. Streams are not guaranteed and vary by song. Card is authorized, not charged, until we approve the track. Budgets of $2,000 and up go through the Partner Program.
Our process
This is the same system we run on our own releases. It is built to find the audience that saves your song and to stop spending on the ones that don’t.
We listen to the song, pick the artists and genres whose fans fit, and cut four to eight short videos that hook a scroller in the first second. Send your own footage if you have it; we will use what works.
A short video-view phase builds an engaged audience before we ask anyone to click. Cheap, and it makes the conversion phase sharper.
Several ad sets run side by side: broad, high-affinity fans of similar artists, and behavior stacks. Every set gets a fair window before we judge it.
Sets and creatives that miss our cost-per-conversion ceiling get cut. No sentiment, no sunk cost.
Winners move into a scaling campaign with lookalikes built from your converters, and we expand countries once a market proves itself.
Dashboard while it runs, then a wrap-up with what worked so the next release starts ahead.
What we measure
Ad spend divided by landing-page conversions. Expected range is $0.15 to $0.50. Under $0.30 is a winner.
Saves plus playlist adds divided by listeners. Often above 90% in week one, and 20% long term is the target.
Drive 5,000 listeners and expect roughly 250 to 500 new followers on your profile.
Questions
Mostly Instagram placements, with Facebook added when it suits the song. They run through our ad account, pixel, landing pages and fan-style social pages, so the ad reads like a recommendation rather than self-promotion.
The audio file, the artwork, and the Spotify link or ISRC. That is it. We also ask for reader access to your Spotify for Artists at info@sonistagency.com so we can see saves and followers move.
Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes by default. Over 80% of listeners choose Spotify. Tell us if you need a specific platform added or removed.
Three to six weeks depending on budget and performance. A $500 package usually runs three to four weeks. If we cannot reach an acceptable cost per conversion in the first ten days we will tell you and you can pivot to another song, hold the budget, or take back the unspent ad spend minus fees.
When you order we only place an authorization hold on your card. We listen to the song first. If we approve it we capture the payment and start building. If we don’t think we can get you a result, we release the hold and you are never charged. Holds expire on their own after seven days.
No. We only take songs we believe we can promote well. A song can be declined for mix quality, lyric content that ad platforms reject, or a niche with no usable targeting. If we decline, you are not charged and we will usually tell you why.
Not on store packages. Setting up business managers, pixels and permissions takes time, and most artists do not want it. If you want your own accounts, or your budget is $2,000 and up, apply for the Partner Program.
